Many different kinds of beings dwell in this world that we live in. Compassionate spirits and deities are beings who are willing to share their knowledge and wisdom to help humankind and the earth. Mediumship, a partnering of spirit and humanity, is one of the ways that these beings are able to offer their help.
Join Betsy Bergstrom in a 3-day workshop exploring this ancient and timeless practice.
Mediumship is a very important aspects of shamanism and spiritual healing. Mediums are people who are able to align their energetics and vibration with those of high spiritual beings in order to become channels or conduits for loving wisdom to come through. While mediumship can also be used for communicating with loved ones who have passed on, this workshop concentrates on developing necessary mediumship skills in conjunction with safe compassionate spirits.
Some people are natural mediums and may be unaware of their abilities in this area. Empathy and psychic abilities may be aspects of mediumistic gifts. When mediumistic gifts are not understood or worked with properly, a person may experience too much empathy or may become mediums for energies not of their own choosing.
The workshop includes:
- Exploration of the fundamentals and styles of conscious mediumship
- Protocols for safety
- Determining personal gifts and styles of mediumship
- Learn authentic partnering with compassionate spirits
- Developing a mediumistic practice
- Atunement to deities and compassionate teachers
- Tools for discerning appropriate Spirit teachers
- Helpful skills for empaths and sensitives for use in daily life
Prerequisite: Good shamanic journeying skills
Dates: Friday, Jan 16th, 9AM - Sunday, Jan 18th, 4PM including a possible, optional Sat night practice.

Betsy Bergstrom is a full-time Shamanic Practitioner who has studied with shamans and healers from many cultures. She is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies 3-Year Program. She has been trained by a number of indigenous shamans and healers who have encouraged her and shared with her their wonderful teachings. She has worked in various fields of Alternative Healing for nearly 20 years. Her calling is to work in partnership with the Helping Spirits, to help the living and with the dead.
